Choices

Why is everything about choices
Even now, when my life has come to this point
The road ahead splits in two different directions
And there's only one way to go

The illumination of the willowwisp
Evokes the magical path to follow
Wisdom once more loses ground

While the dark but clear road
Seems to absorb all light
What to do where to go?

Why choose the darkened path
Which is declared safe, but seems not
While the other one is incandescent?

Why choose the enlightened path
Which is beautiful and crystal clear
But where the lights lure you right away
